The Fyfe Collective film was my first go at creative direction. As a professional music major at Berklee College of Music, we are tasked with designing a thesis project that not only reflects our life as artists up until the point of graduating, but one that simultaneously launches us into our dream professional world. This project was just that. Deeply inspired by Rihanna's Savage X Fenty fashion show films and their effortless fusion of music, dance, fashion, and cinematography - I wanted to create a project that showcased my range as an artist and capacity to blend expression styles as well. For the first time in my life, I got to wear all the hats I had acquired from my life as a multi-hyphenated artist, and it was authentically celebrated.
